The Rolling Stones Wild Horses

The Rolling Stones - Wild Horses

The original recording had a number of layered guitars throughout so let's pick out some of these parts and incorporate them a single guitar and harmonica version.

Difficulty: Medium

Lesson Length: 29:49

Instructor: George Goodman

Great acoustic rhythm throughout. Mick Taylor plays a great guitar solo on the original recording so let’s lift some of his licks and apply them to the harmonica.

The intro is interesting in that it is five measures long.
Typically you would expect an introduction to be 4 bars or some multiple of four bars but here it is 5 bars which adds a little interest for the player.
Two chords are used here - G and Am7.
