Musical Challenges

For Harmonica - Single Notes: The harmonica solo line should be played as single notes. Good air support will fatten up those notes.
Everything you need to get up to speed including single notes is covered in the video series Harp N Guitar Harmonica Essentials

Guitar - Chords: Pretty standard stuff. Strumming is a kind of country swing feel.

If you need help here, check out the video series Harp N Guitar Guitar Essentials, Guitar Chords and Rhythm Guitar and Strumming.

A D harmonica is what's needed for Harvest. The song is in D and we'll play this in first position. The harmonica tabs are on the screen and available as a download.

Harvest. Guitar, harmonica and vocals. Super.

Things To Note

This was recorded in my studio in Nanaimo, British Columbia in January 2013.

D is not a good key for me - too high.

I hope you have fun learning this beautiful Neil Young classic.

Stay in tune my friend.

George
