In this session we’ll look at the V Major Pentatonic Scale on the Pentatonic Scale Cheat Sheet and where that is found on the diatonic harmonica. These are the notes that will sound great and offer inspiration for improvising over the V Major chord.

Looking at the V - Major section of the chart, it begins with draw 1 in the fourth note of the scale.
That's followed by blow 2.

The lowest root note is blow 3
Then -3bb
Third note is -3
Fourth note is -4
and the fifth note is blow 5

Next octave
Root is blow 6
2nd is -6
3rd is -7
5th is -8
6th is blow 8

The high root is blow 9
and 2nd is -10

So the V Major pentatonic scale over the entire range of the harmonica is:
