G Harmonica First Position. C Harmonica Second Position

A C harmonica is the first one you need to follow along with the lessons on the site on works great for the Wonderful Tonight riff in second position. I often play a Hohner Special 20 Harmonica in the key of C through a Shure Green Bullet microphone Model 5200 and Fender Super Champ amplifier

The riff can also be played in first position with a G Harmonica.

Hohner Harmonica HolderHohner Harmonica Holder

The Hohner Harmonica Neck Holder fits harmonicas up to 7-1/2" long.

With a long-lasting nickel-plated finish, this harmonica rack is adjustable and fits any neck shape.

Musical Challenges

Finger picking can be challenging but the tempo is slow so it's not too taxing.

Single notes are required to make the riff sing out.

The Guitar Essentials, Harmonica Essentials, and Rhythm Guitar and Strumming courses can help with any difficulties you're having.

Love it George! Been doing this song for ages playing a chord/melody for the riff … don’t know why i never adapted a harp for it. Thanks for always being there with that kick in the butt!

  2. George says:

    Right on Bob. You’re welcome.
