Strumming Pattern
CM7 Rhythm Chords Accents

This rhythm has a little bit of everything.
It starts out with a quarter note on the first beat.
The second beat consists of a dotted eighth note followed by a sixteenth note.
The third beat contains two eighth notes.
The fourth beat is made up of four sixteenth notes.
Here's how it's counted.
1 2 a 3 & 4 e & a

The first beat is a down stroke.
The dotted eighth of the second beat is a down stroke while the sixteenth is an up stroke.
Both eighth notes of the third beat are down strokes.
The sixteenth notes of the fourth beat alternate between down strokes and up stokes.

Down, down, up, down, down, down, up, down, up.

Things To Work On
Counting
Ear Training - Practice singing the different notes of the two chords.
Alternating between C and CM7 and hearing the difference.
