Introduction
Let's look at F major which is the IV major chord, also known as the sub-dominant chord, in the key of C and where those chord tones are on the C harmonica.
Then we'll look at the Lydian scale which is the scale built off the fourth degree of the major scale.

Guitar

Chord - F Major. This is the chord that is built of the fourth degree of the C Major scale. The notes in the chord are F, A and C.
Note that this is a major chord and has an upbeat sound.
Aim for clean chords.

4/4 Rhythm - keep it as simple as needed.
You can start out by strumming whole notes to match with the harmonica rhythm or strum straight quarter notes.
If you're comfortable with that, try something more challenging.
In the video, I am playing this eighth-sixteenth rhythm.

The notes that make up the chord F Major and the Lydian scale are shown in the staffs below.
Treble Clef / G Clef - circles around the second line indicating this line as the note G. All notes can be determined from this reference.
Key of C - no sharps or flats in the key signature.
4/4 Time Signature - 4 beats per measure; quarter note is equal to a single beat and a whole note gets 4 beats.

* Work on playing single notes with a full sound.
* Listen to how the note being played fits into the chord.
* Work on reading the music and not just the tabs.
* Learn where the notes are on the harmonica.
* Have fun.
