Hohner Specail 20

The C harmonica is required in this one.
A C harmonica is the first one you need to follow along with the lessons on the site. I often play a Hohner Special 20 Harmonica in the key of C through a Shure Green Bullet microphone Model 5200 and Fender Super Champ amplifier

Video Info

The next series of videos is going to outline the chords that are built upon the degrees of the major scale.
Each video will look at a different chord in the key of C Major and demonstrate where the notes to the chord and scale occur on the harmonica.
Lesson 1: I Major (C Major) chord and Ionian scale.
Lesson 2: ii minor (D minor) chord and Dorian scale.
Lesson 3: iii minor (E minor) chord and Phrygian scale.
Lesson 4: IV Major (F Major) chord and Lydian scale.
Lesson 5: V Major, V7 (G Major, G7) chords and Mixolydian scale.
Lesson 6: vi minor (A minor) chord and Aeolian scale.
Lesson 7: vii - (B dim) chord and Locrian scale.

Once you have learned these on one harmonica in one key, then you can transfer that to any key. That's why it is important to learn the chords that make up the different keys.
Have fun, see you there.
